Introduction of GPT Games
GPT Games is a game platform based on artificial intelligence technology. Users can try games written by GPT, or write new games by themselves.
GPT Games can be used for free, and users will be provided with 10K Tokens after registering an account. After Tokens are used up, they need to be purchased at a price of $8 per million.
How to Use GPT Games
We try to play in GPT Games. GPT Games has listed some popular games, we choose bugs first. Bugs is a game for finding errors in programs. The system requires us to choose the corresponding programming language and generate a piece of code. We need to find errors in the code.
After we choose Python, GPT Games generates a loop statement. After we find the error, we can type and interact with the system to complete the game process. If there is a problem with the inputs, GPT Games will give a certain prompt. GPT Games generates answers when we fail to complete a task.
We move on to the Escape Room game. The background of this game is set to complete three intelligence test questions, and the lock can be unlocked after obtaining the key. The first question is a guessing game, and the sentence given by the system is:
“I am taken from a mine and shut in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost every person. What am I?”
We guess the answer is pencil lead. The second question is color and shape combination.
On the wall opposite the door, you notice a series of shapes painted in different colors. There are squares, circles, triangles, and diamonds, each in a different color: red, blue, yellow, and green.
Next to the shapes, there is a note that reads:
“Crack the pattern to find the next key. Each shape represents a number, and the colors hold the clue. Use the correct formula to determine the missing number and its corresponding color.”
The shapes and their colors are as follows:
Square – Red Circle – Blue Triangle – Yellow Diamond – ?
After many attempts, we turned to GPT Games for an answer.
We have four shapes: square, circle, triangle, and diamond. Each shape is associated with a different color: red, blue, yellow, and green.
To crack the pattern, let’s analyze the given information:
The square is red.
The circle is blue.
The triangle is yellow.
Now, we need to find the missing shape and its corresponding color.
By observing the pattern, we can see that each shape is associated with a color that starts with the same letter as the shape itself. For example, square starts with an “s” and is associated with red. Circle starts with a “c” and is associated with blue. Triangle starts with a “t” and is associated with yellow.
Applying this pattern, we can conclude that the missing shape, diamond, starts with a “d” and should be associated with a color that starts with a “d” as well.
So, the missing shape, diamond, should be associated with the color “green.”
Now that we have the missing shape and its corresponding color, let’s move on to the next challenge.
In the third question, GPT Games asked us to use Caesar cipher to decrypt a piece of text, and we also relied on system prompts to complete the task.
“Decode the message to find the final key. Use the Caesar cipher with a shift of 3 to reveal the hidden word.”
Due to the large number of Tokens consumed in Q&A, we did not test the function of writing games. Judging from the two games we participated in, the games provided by GPT Games are more biased towards intelligence tests.
Summary
GPT Games contains many intellectual games, which have advantages over traditional games in interaction.
