Introduction to Artbreeder
Artbreeder is an artificial intelligence-based image editing tool that includes functions such as image stitching, adjustment, generation, and expansion. It also provides many creative materials.
Artbreeder currently provides two versions, free and paid, and there are 10 Credits available for the free version. Credits consumed for each edit is around 0.2. The paid version has more Credits and offers services such as private mode.
How to Use Artbreeder
We tried the four functions of Artbreeder separately: Mixer, Splicer, Collage and Outpainter. The Mixer function can combine two pictures together. We upload a picture of a building and a picture of a tree and combine them using this function. Artbreeder generates the following three pictures and provides the function of downloading and continuing editing. Users can also choose the resolution of different pictures.
We continue to test the Splicer function. This function can edit the picture, including adjusting the color, brightness and darkness, and the contents in the picture. The paid version of Artbreeder has more tuning parameters here.
We test the Collage function. This function can generate pictures from drafts drawn by users. We draw a picture of two robots talking under a building and add Prompts. Artbreeder generated corresponding pictures for us. We can also redo these steps for a more satisfying result.
Finally, we test the Outpainter function. This function can expand new contents outside the picture. We ask Artbreeder to generate a railroad track in front of a picture of a building. Artbreeder provides the following results:
